About Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Regional Airport
Originally opened in 1928 as Berry's Dell Airport, the Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Regional Airport has a pair of runways: Runway 1/19 is asphalt and measures 5,010 feet long by 100 feet wide, and Runway 14/32 is a turf runway that is 2,746 feet long by 100 feet wide.
What is a Master Plan?
A Master Plan is a proactive document that identifies and then plans for future facility needs to ensure that airport management can coordinate project approvals, design, financing, and construction to avoid experiencing detrimental effects due to inadequate facilities.
Why Update the Master Plan?
The Master Plan update is being undertaken to evaluate the airport's capabilities and role, to forecast future aviation demand, and to plan for the timely development of new or expanded facilities that may be required to fulfill that plan.
